The challenge
A regional civils contractor had applied twice for the same works framework and been rejected both times without ever reaching the quality stage. Their capability was not in question — their submissions were. Financial evidence was being submitted for the wrong group entity and two accreditations had lapsed without anyone noticing.
What we did
We ran a procurement readiness audit first, which found the entity and accreditation problems in a fortnight. With those corrected we rebuilt every quality response around the published weightings, interviewing site managers to turn their delivery knowledge into evidenced method statements with named contracts, dates and measured outcomes.
The result
Appointed to two lots at the next reopening, with the highest quality score the business had recorded. The evidence gathered during the interviews became the foundation of a bid library now used on every subsequent submission.
